George had made friends with a Hungarian called Floyd who showed him a new chord from a Portuguese sea shanty. When George was headhunted by the MD of the company Floyd worked for, Floyd gave him a copy of Mario Puzo’s book The Godfather, and wrote ‘Welcome to the family!’ inside the front cover. Obviously this piece in Am could have no other name.
