This arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis.
Inspiration drawn from the versions on the 1974 Secret Treaties studio album, and the 1975 live BOC album On Your Feet Or On Your Knees.

The Subhuman was one of The Bastard Sons of Dennis's most progressive songs. Chuck would tune his guitar to a drop-D for the interpretation.

This particular version owes much to the wonderful live On Your Feet Or On Your Knees recording, where guitarist Donald Roeser demonstrates his absolute mastery of the melodic minor,

Within this cover there is a lot of guitar soloing. It is all highly definitive and would be performed more-or-less identically by The Bastard Sons of Dennis every time. Both Chuck and Derek take solos.

There is a live video of The Bastard Sons of Dennis performing The Subhuman. Due to some disruption when an audience member fell against the camera person, it comes in two parts.
