Smile first appeared on the 1992 album "Need for Not" by Levitation.
Terry Bickers was the frontman of the band Levitation and he and Mr Lijkkes were at university together.
Mr Lijkkes had a hand in the writing of this song.
Mr Nejsan had never heard the Levitation version of the song and created his parts independently.

This song was first performed by the Bastard Sons of Dennis at The Cavern, Exeter in the summer of 1994.
It is by Levitation and this arrangement by The Bastard Sons of Dennis.
